Our story

On a whim, Kelsey planted her first wildflower patch in 2024. What began as a small experiment quickly became a source of deep joy not only for her, but for her daughter as well. Watching butterflies pollinate and noticing the return of insects and birds transformed their yard into a thriving ecosystem, sparking a passion in Kelsey and offering a sense of calm and nervous-system healing along the way.

Soon after, Kelsey discovered native plants and, in 2025, began growing a 15,000-square-foot U-Pick wildflower field called Adventure Gardens in Bentonville. That same year, she expanded flower production on her own urban lot, growing natives, wildflowers, and seasonal flowers to sell to friends and family. The response was immediate and enthusiastic. Her bouquets were in higher demand than she ever expected.

As a close friend, Andy watched with excitement as Kelsey’s hobby gained momentum. One summer day in 2025, Andy joined her in the garden to cut stems and left with a freshly gathered bouquet of her own. While Andy had never grown flowers, she had long been a fan of having fresh flowers in her home and that first hands-on experience sparked something new.

Not long after, the idea for Wildeblume took shape. With Kelsey’s passion for growing flowers and Andy’s experience in business operations, the two friends saw a natural opportunity to build something together, combining their strengths to create a business centered on sharing joy through flowers.

The name

Wildeblume was inspired by Kelsey’s German family heritage. Her great-grandparents immigrated from Germany in the early 1900s, and her grandparents, lifelong, gifted gardeners, shaped her love of growing things. Wildblume, the German word for “wildflower” became our inspiration, with a slight change in spelling to honor their legacy while creating something new.

Kelsey Sigars

Co-Owner

I’m Kelsey! I’ve lived in downtown Bentonville for the past nine years with my husband Collin and our four-year-old daughter. At Wildeblume, I plan our urban farm each season and care for our flowers from planting through harvest. I’m also often behind the camera, sharing life in the garden on our social channels.

Growing flowers is both a passion and a form of self-care for me. I love getting my hands in the dirt, connecting with nature, and watching the life a garden brings to a home. When I’m not in the field, you’ll likely find me riding bikes, walking around town, or spending time with my family. If you see me out and about, don’t be afraid to say hello! I hope our love of flowers inspires you to find beauty in caring for the world around us.

Andy McGinley

Originally from Calgary, Canada, I’ve lived in Colorado and the San Francisco Bay Area before settling in Northwest Arkansas to be closer to my husband Jared’s family. I’m a mom to two energetic kids, a six-year-old son and a four-year-old daughter, who keep life full and busy.

Before flowers, my background was in consulting and tech, where I worked in operations roles spanning HR, recruiting, and revenue operations, shaping a systems-minded approach to building things well. In my spare time, you’ll find me riding bikes, walking my dog, or strength training, all part of my love for movement and wellness. Flowers became a natural extension of that passion, a way to slow down, spend more time outside, and put my skills to work creating something joyful for my family and community.
